The breeder (Lin Baugher) is not responsible for any associated charges such as shipping, veterinarian fees or stress related illness. It does not cover treatable parasites such as worms, fleas, ear mites, etc. We require that the puppy be taken to a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days from the date purchased, (excluding a holiday in the event that the veterinarian is closed due to holiday), from possession / transfer date of the puppy to allow a complete check-up. If the veterinarian deems the puppy has been verified healthy, the breeder assumes no further responsibility for the condition of the puppy due to the fact that the care of the puppy is out of my/our control. The buyer now assumes responsibility to carry on with appropriate care, vaccinations, etc.

GENETIC DISORDERS:

In the event that the puppy develops a life threatening genetic disorder within 6 months of the puppy’s date of birth, the breeder will require a written report from a licensed veterinarian (we are not responsible financially or otherwise for any veterinarian bills or statements for normal puppy follow-up treatments or for any illness/tests/reports/ or disorders of purchased puppy) with proof of the disorder and then one of the following options will be provided:

(a) Should buyer choose to keep the puppy, a refund of 50% of the purchase price of the puppy only will be made and a refund check will be issued when the buyers veterinarian provides proof of disorder to the breeder along with a spay/neuter agreement (since that genetic disorder animal is not of breeder quality).

(b) Should buyer choose to relinquish ownership of the puppy to the breeder, then a refund or a replacement puppy, whichever the breeder decides is appropriate will be done. If the breeder chooses to give a refund, it will be for the purchase price of the puppy only and will be issued once the puppy is returned at buyers expense, with all registration papers (if any) and proof of disorder arrive, a refund check will be issued within 7 to 10 working days.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

We don’t guarantee that your puppies are show quality or breeding stock as this cannot be determined at such a young age. Nor, do we guarantee size or color, which may change by adult age. We are not responsible for any veterinarian fees or tests, reports, or treatments or related charges from the veterinarian. Nor, are we responsible for the cost to transport the puppy back to us, should the puppy be returned due to congenital terminal defects. Great care is provided to prevent or eliminate parasites such as worms, fleas, and ear mites. Due their common occurrence, we cannot guarantee any puppy to be totally parasite or fungus free. By accepting the above described puppy, the buyer agrees to be bound by the provisions of this Limited Health Guarantee. *

Other notes:

We recommend proper training to prevent unwanted pets. We highly recommend spay or neuter for any pet that is not purchased with the buyer’s intent to breed or show. It results in a much nicer pet without many unnecessary problems. Proper puppy care can be studied by using a library book, purchasing puppy training, tapes to view, or taking puppy training classes to teach you how to properly train your pet.

· The breeder neither makes or implies any warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, other than those written in the agreement, including without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the breeder and the buyer with respect to this sale. The buyer’s signature below indicates that he/she has read, agrees, and does understand all the conditions of this contract sale.
